This will be a very short post, but the purpose is to show you how to make your home look great on a budget. My approach to projects is always to look for a budget-friendly solution.
While at Home Depot, I spotted this light, and seeing the sale price made me wonder if I had a light that needed to be replaced. The answer was yes. We never replaced the front door fixture, so it was time.
I couldn’t find the exact one I got from the store, but I found a similar one HERE.
The truth is I never changed a light in my life but have been watching my husband do it, and since I’m not the most patient person, I decided to do it myself. DO NOT CHANGE A LIGHT FIXTURE UNLESS YOU KNOW HOW; IT CAN BE DANGEROUS.
This is what our old light fixture looked like (image below); it was pretty bad no matter how many times I cleaned it.
Finally, this light fixture complements the house aesthetic.
I’m so excited about how it turned out, and I liked the light even though it was on sale. I totally would pay $54 because it looks great. I forgot to buy a lightbulb, so I used what I got, but I definitely will replace it soon.

I hope the Budget-Friendly Front Door Light Fixture post was helpful so you can start transforming part of your house that you want to change. I tried to get the best images while running around cleaning the house, driving the kids to school, working, and so on.
