With any celebration and now with the end of the school year, I love having a gift that is meaningful. I always make sure that the presentation is just as good, for this reason, I found beautiful gift bags that keep on giving. The reason I say that, is because they can be used multiple times for different occasions.
The designs and shapes are so unique and beautiful. I’m really big on recycling when possible and the regular paper bags do not always look as good after the first use. If you always purchase new bags when you are giving gifts, I don’t. I feel this is a waste of money and paper. This is the reason I love the idea of Scout Bags.
There are patterns and colors for every taste. I had really hard time choosing.
Here is a little story behind the brand and how it started:
It began with an ah-ha moment.
In the early 2000s, Deb Waterman Johns, Chief Creative Officer, spotted a (very expensive) chic carryall bag in the window of a high-fashion store in Milan. She realized there was a need for stylish, functional tote bags at an affordable price point, accessible to all women, and she could be the one to fill it.
Last but not least Skout is a family-owned, Washington, DC-based brand known for colorful bags that mix both function and fashion using original patterns and versatile designs. I’m all for supporting the products made in the USA.
You can find the bags HERE.
I decided to gift them to my kids’ teachers. I believe this is a great idea and the teachers will be able to reuse them. There are many more occasions you can use this bags: birthday parties, graduations, baby showers and much more. I really loved the bags and I know my kids’ teachers will love them as well.
