Today’s post is all about fall trends and I would love to share with you how I styled my embroidered bag and red shoes. Both accessories are hot this season. Who knew red shoes will be a thing? Before you will never see a picture of me with a bold outfit or accessories, I guess things have changed since I was a teenager.
Last December I went to visit family and friends in Bulgaria. If you never been there one thing that strikes right away are the trendy people on the streets. It doesn’t have to be just women, it’s men and kids. If you are wondering what is currently trendy just see what the people are wearing and you don’t even need to read the magazines.
I grew up with the idea that I always have to look presentable no matter what time of the day it is and where I’m going. Some of my US friends that came with me asked me “Why are the women so stylish? Are they suppose to work with fashionable outfits?” Honestly, no matter what job you have the Bulgarian women always look trendy and well taken care of.
I don’t want to sound like I’m bragging, this is not the case. If you ask any woman raised in Bulgaria she will tell you the same. The downside was all the pressure we had to look great all the time (whether you can or can’t afford it). Even if you go to the neighbor next door still, you can’t wear robe or pajamas. I’m telling you this about myself so you know where I’m coming from.
Let’s get to today’s look that was inspired by the red color trend. The shoes are from Bulgaria, I got them last year as soon as I had time for shopping. Every other woman on the streets was wearing red shoes and I knew this trend will be big in the US next season (which is now). Europe trends are one or two years ahead of United States. Don’t get offended this always has been the case, not sure why.
I absolutely love those shoes (another look with them HERE). I wore them so many times and as much as the color is intimidating I never had a problem styling them. This color goes with a lot of shades so don’t worry. Some examples are white, blue, black, gray, brown, tan, yellow and more.
The embroidered crossbody bag is just adorable, and the embroidery is very popular this season (on clothes, shoes, bags). The bag costs only $29, the link is below, just click on the image. I have more options for the shoes and the tunic because the one I’m wearing was from Kohl’s last season. Check the images below and you will see a great selection of red shoes and tunics I picked for you.
